Dr. Emily is a passionate chiropractor who blends a strong foundation in kinesiology with a love for functional movement. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Fitness and Wellness from Concordia University in Irvine. From there, she continued her education at Southern California University of Health Sciences, where she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Growing up, Dr. Emily was actively involved in sports, including soccer, softball, basketball, and competitive high diving. This early exposure to physical activity sparked her interest in understanding how the body works and moves, eventually leading her to pursue a career in chiropractic care. Her passion for chiropractic care began at the age of 10, when her own softball coach—a chiropractor—helped her recover from years of elbow tendonitis and rotator cuff injuries, allowing her to get back on the field, court, and in the water!
Dr. Emily is dedicated to helping her patients achieve not only maximal strength but also improved function for everyday tasks and athletic performance. She believes in the importance of evidence-based care to manage patient outcomes and is committed to providing personalized treatment plans that focus on both short-term relief and long-term wellness.
During her final year of chiropractic school, Dr. Emily completed residency programs that allowed her to work with a diverse range of populations. She gained invaluable experience working at the Naval Hospital in Camp Pendleton, where she treated military personnel, as well as at the University of Irvine Health Center, where she provided care to dedicated students. Additionally, she worked alongside a practice focused on women’s health, including pre- and postpartum care, expanding her ability to address the unique needs of different patient groups.
Now, as a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Emily is excited to begin her practice, focusing on individualized, patient-centered care. She is committed to helping patients not only address and resolve root causes but also provide them with the tools for longevity, allowing them to live their healthiest and most active lives.
