Here at Back to Basics, we specialize in correcting your body’s misalignments. Our goal is to ensure that your spine and the rest of your body are working harmoniously. To do so, we will help you develop a plan that will require light stretching, some exercise, chiropractic care, and a healthy diet.
It is our number one goal to have you healthy as quickly as possible. Every time that you enter our doors, we will evaluate how the last session went so that every appointment is a step in the right direction. No matter how you hurt yourself, we will find a comfortable way to safely help you.
Spinal and Postural Screening
Here at Back to Basics, we are proud to offer spinal posture screening services. A straight spine is important for proper body movement and healthy organ function. The onset of significant spinal conditions generally occurs between the ages of 10 and 14 in adolescent development.
Screening of the spine may provide an opportunity to identify problems that might impact student health. For this reason, many schools facilitate this screening as part of a health physical, and at-risk students are highly encouraged to be rechecked yearly. Posture screening may generally include assessment for scoliosis (side to side curve), kyphosis (round back) and lordosis (sway back).
When most people think of Chiropractors, they think of someone who only adjusts your neck and back. While Chiropractors do specialize in treating the neck and back regions, they have been trained to do much more. Back to Basics and the rest of our team are dedicated to helping you achieve your long-term health and wellness goals by offering you reliable lifestyle advice.
If you are not sure if the lifestyle choices you are making are worsening or improving your condition, Back to Basics is here to help. We address the typical chiropractic issues as well as coach our patients to live a healthier life by looking at the individual as a whole mentally, physically and emotionally.
Treatment is only the beginning to living a healthier, pain-free life. There are many other factors that contribute to how complete your recovery will be. For example, proper nutrition and exercise help promote the body’s natural healing process and an essential component to your chiropractic care. Living each day with a healthier perspective is easier than you think. We are here coaching and cheering you on the whole way!
